Demetri has always loved golf.. watching it, playing it, talking about it.. anything to do with golf! It was no surprise that he chose a wish to golf at California’s famous Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill golf courses.

His wish began with a send-off party planned by his wish granters at Congo River Putt Putt and complete golf outfit donated by Golf Locker. Then Demetri, his parents and sister set out on their flight to California. Upon arrival in California, the family checked in at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and enjoyed some free time to sightsee. The next day was tee time for Debetri and his father at Pebble Beach Golf Links, a golfer’s dream come true- the course, the beautiful view and the Club House! The following day Demetri and his family had a free day for more sightseeing, shopping and just relaxing at the beach. Still one more day of golfing was in store for Demetri with a tee time for him and his father at Spyglass Hill Golf Course. It was an amazing time that he will never forget!

The entire family had an incredible experience on Demetri’s Wish. His mother expressed their deepest gratitude to Make-A-Wish for giving Demetri this time to feel like a normal kid again. “This experience was like the gift of all time. A celebration to mark all he endured. Our hearts are filled with joy- Demetri’s wish has been a dream come true!”
