Victor, whose nickname is “Bubba”, wished for a shopping spree. On the morning of his wish, Bubba’s wish granting volunteers brought University of Florida Gator balloons (his favorite team) and an itinerary of the day’s events. To his surprise, a limousine pulled up to his home to transport everyone in VIP style. Along with his mom and siblings, Bubba headed to the mall. On the way to the mall everyone shared a special toast of Dr. Pepper in champagne glasses.

The first stop of the day was Game Stop at the Edison Mall. Bubba was greeted with a huge box of cupcakes and a gift bag presented by two employees dressed as the Mario Brothers. Bubba was overwhelmed by all the attention. After spending all of his money with literally one penny left, Bubba was ready for lunch. His restaurant of choice was the Golden Coral. The manager had a great surprise for Bubba’s arrival. Waiting to greet the family were over 40 motorcyclists, members of the Christian Motorcycle Club who wanted to make Bubba’s day extra special. They made him an honorary member complete with a patch and hat and took a photo of him posed on a motorcycle.

Bubba enjoyed his wish day, and any thoughts of having a life threatening medical condition were replaced with smiles and laughter.
